Dr. Diana Maldžiūtė is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Lithuanian Medical Association. She practices at Šiauliai Republican Hospital since 2023. She will also practice at Meliva Kardiolita Hospital in Vilnius from 2025. She previously worked at Vilnius City Clinical Hospital, Molėtai Hospital, Nordclinic, and the National Cancer Institute.
Her training includes facelift surgery in Coventry in 2025 and nerve surgery in Utrecht in 2025. She trained in aesthetic facial surgery and rhinoplasty in Dundee and at King’s College London with Dr. Yücel in 2024. She completed oncology and brachial plexus practice in India in 2024. She studied peripheral nerve and hand dissection in Copenhagen in 2023. She trained in flap raising in Bochum and Tampere in 2022–2023. She completed microsurgery at the Pius Branzeu Center in 2021. She also trained in ultrasound and ENMG, aesthetic surgery, and breast surgery in Lithuania in 2024–2025.
Dr. Simonas Kaupas is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He has broad clinical experience and completed residencies in both orthopedics and plastic surgery at Vilnius University. Dr. Kaupas has also completed international fellowships in hand and reconstructive surgery in Sweden, Nepal, and the Czech Republic. He has attended advanced training courses throughout Europe.
Dr. Kaupas specializes in aesthetic surgery, maxillofacial and breast reconstruction, facial nerve paralysis treatment, and complex hand and wrist surgery. He is an active member of Lithuanian and international plastic surgery congresses and often presents his work. Dr. Kaupas has worked at leading Lithuanian medical centers, including Meliva/Kardiolitos Clinics, Nordclinic, and Santaros Clinics.
Dr. Darius Jauniškis is a plastic and reconstructive surgeon at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Clinics. He has practiced since 1997 and performs about 400 surgeries per year. He graduated from the Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He completed residencies in Orthopaedics and Traumatology (1998–2002) and in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Santaros Clinics, Centro branch (2002–2004).
He received the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences Prize in 1996 for the study “Measurement of Screw Pull-Out Strength in Pelvic Bones.” He continues professional training in Austria, Switzerland, France, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, the United States, Romania, Germany, Brazil, and Sweden.
He is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He also belongs to the Lithuanian Society for Hand Surgery and Rehabilitation “Manus Lithuanica,” and served as president from 2007 to 2013.
